Met up with Matthew for some faster pace run before Singapore Marathon on Monday evening despite a slight drizzle.
From Big Splash, we started on 5:45min/km then 5:30min/km then 5:15min/km for 9km until I reach the NSRCC water cooler. It was longer than originally planned since the focus is more on speed during this period.
Bid farewell to Matthew since he need to clock another 5km before turning around and I made my way back to Big Splash picking up pace from 4:55min/km then 4:45min/km then 4:40min/km stopping 1km final destination to walk off the lactic acid.
It was a satisfactory 17km but still slightly slower than what I thought I could achieve. Just hoping I've not peaked.
